Membership Conditions at Vienna Blockchain System Verein
The Vienna Blockchain System Verein seeks to attract members who believe in the principles and goals of the association and are willing to contribute to the development of blockchain technology. Below are the conditions for membership in this association:

1. Types of Membership
Full Membership (Vollmitglied): This type of membership is for individuals who are recognized as regular members of the association and enjoy all the rights and responsibilities of the association’s members.
Honorary Membership (Ehrenmitglied): This membership is granted to individuals who, upon the recommendation of the board and approval of the general assembly, are recognized for their special contributions to the association.
Youth Membership (Jugendliche Mitglieder): This membership is for individuals who have not yet reached the age of 16 or are students, apprentices, or university students under the age of 19.
Supporting Membership (Unterstützende Mitglieder): This type of membership is for individuals who wish to support the association and participate in its activities but may not be fully involved in the day-to-day operations of the association.


2. How to Become a Member
Membership Application: To become a member of the association, applicants must complete a membership application form and submit it to the board.
Decision on Membership: The board is responsible for deciding on membership applications and may reject an application without providing a reason.
Granting Honorary Membership: Honorary membership is granted based on the board’s recommendation and the general assembly’s approval.


3. Termination of Membership
Termination by Resignation: Members can resign by submitting a written notice at least one month before the end of the year. The resignation will only be effective at the end of the calendar year.
Termination by Expulsion: The board may expel a member who has failed to pay membership fees for more than six months or for other reasons such as serious breaches of membership duties or dishonorable conduct.
